Dream On (2010)
Interactive book installation by Alinah Azadeh, with Willow Winston and Terence Williams. The Clore Ballroom, Royal Festival Hall, South Bank Centre, London
The Bibliomancer’s Dream (2009), a large-scale book installation commissioned by Southbank Centre for the Clore Ballroom space at the Royal Festival Hall, was recommissioned this year as part of the Imagine Festival.
Alinah Azadeh was asked to conceive a related idea for the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room foyer, and asked Willow Winston and Terence Williams to once again collaborate with her and bring to life her initial concept of strapping thousands of open poetry books to the walls and pillars of the venue through their ingenious design and engineering of the piece.
